Reversible Winter Warmers
Keep extra warm in cold weather with these reversible neck warmers, hats and wrist warmers! The versatile neck warmers can be worn around the neck or pulled up over the head as a hood. The hat and wrist warmers are double thickness, making them both completely reversible and extra warm.
All projects are crocheted in the round so there is no need for sewing or weaving in lots of ends; the twisted neck warmer is even crocheted with the twist in it!
This reversible technique is not as complicated as it looks, only sc and hdc stitches are used to create the design, making one color more prominent on each side.
Materials:
All models were created by alternating rows of dark pink and black, or blue and light tan, soft worsted weight yarn and a size I (5.50 mm) crochet hook.
Finished Sizes:
- Adult Hat: 20-1/4″, 21-3/8″ and 22-1/2″ circumference. Additional size ranges are given for infant to young adult using lighter weight yarns and smaller hooks.
- Neck Warmer: 27″ around x 17-1/2″ wide.
- Twisted Neck Warmer: 31-1/2″ around x 17-1/2 wide.
- Wrist Warmers: 8-1/2″ around x 6″ wide; and 9-3/4″ around x 6-3/4″ wide
