Double Snowflakes Mosaic Crochet Afghan
The Double Snowflakes Afghan, using my double overlay mosaic technique, is like two afghans in one! The bold design on the front of the afghan alternates two large, detailed snowflakes, while the back has a smaller geometric snowflake design which incorporates the natural striping of overlay mosaic crochet.
As an alternative to adding an envelope border to hide the ends of a typical overlay mosaic project, each row of this afghan starts and ends with a wintery fringe of icicles, snowflakes or snowballs!

Materials:
- Acrylic DK weight yarn, and a size 6/0 (3.50 mm) crochet hook were used.
- A size 7/0 (4.00 mm) crochet hook was used for the beginning border only.
- Stitch markers are recommended to keep track of your progress.
Finished Size:
- 49″ wide x 69″ long
- Measurements do not include fringe.
