Fun & Fancy Crochet Snowflakes Vol. 9

There’s always room for more crocheted snowflakes to decorate for the holidays! How about making several to frame in the shape of a Christmas tree? Be sure to make extra snowflakes to decorate packages, windows, a tree or wreath, and much more… !

All of my snowflake designs are inspired by the photographs of the “Snowflake Man” – Wilson A. Bentley.

Materials:

All snowflakes were created using white or gold metallic cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook.
Stiffening supplies: foam core board, plastic wrap, fabric stiffener, paper towel and rust-proof straight pins.
Optional materials: assorted ribbon, jump rings, metal head pins, jewelry findings, beads, clear glitter paint, ornament hangers, small suction cups with hook.

Finished Sizes:

Instructions are provided for fourteen medium to large snowflakes, and one small, mini and tiny snowflake.
