Fun & Fancy Crochet Snowflakes Vol. 7
You can never have too many snowflakes to decorate for the holidays! Using self-striping thread, unique patterns are created on each snowflake so no two will ever be exactly the same!
All of my snowflake designs are inspired by the photographs of the “Snowflake Man” – Wilson A. Bentley.
Materials:
- All snowflakes were created using self-striping cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
- Stiffening supplies: foam core board, plastic wrap, fabric stiffener, paper towel and rust-proof straight pins.
- Optional materials: assorted ribbon, jump rings, metal head pins, jewelry findings, beads, clear glitter paint, ornament hangers, small suction cups with hook.
Finished Sizes:
Instructions are provided for twelve large snowflakes, and one small and mini snowflake.
