Fun & Fancy Crochet Snowflakes No. 5
Snowflakes from simply elegant to elaborately detailed are provided in this pattern set. Use them to decorate packages, windows, a tree or wreath; connect multiple snowflakes to create an elegant hanging ornament; or even frame several for a special wall or table decoration!
All of my snowflake designs are inspired by the photographs of the “Snowflake Man” – Wilson A. Bentley.
Materials:
- All snowflakes were created using white cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
- Stiffening supplies: foam core board, plastic wrap, fabric stiffener, paper towel and rust-proof straight pins.
- Optional materials: square frame, assorted ribbon, jump rings, metal head pins, jewelry findings, beads, clear glitter paint, ornament hangers, small suction cups with hook.
Finished Sizes:
Instructions are provided for twelve medium to large snowflakes, and one tiny and small snowflake.
