Bold Snowflake Interlocking Crochet Pillow Set
Decorate for the holidays with these three bold snowflake pillows created using the interlocking filet crochet technique. Solid stitches are used to fill in these striking snowflake designs. The background in the center of the snowflake is also filled in, with the remainder left open to give the impression of a large snowflake in the night sky surrounded by hundreds of tiny shimmering snowflakes!
Three snowflake designs are provided: Arctic, Glacial and Polar, each with it’s own unique pillow back design that radiates from the corners. All pillow covers button in the back to easily insert a pillow form.
This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference.
Materials:
- Worsted weight acrylic yarn was used for both the main and contrasting colors.
- A size 7.5/0 (4.50 mm) crochet hook was also used.
- One large decorative button for each pillow.
- A 16″ square (used for models) or 18″ square pillow form, depending on preference.
Finished Size:
- Pillow Front only – 17-1/2″ square
- Pillow with Border – 19″ square
