Captivating Crochet Lace Cape
This versatile crochet lace cape can make a great cover-up for a summer or add a pop of color to a winter outfit. It can be worn as a traditional poncho or even turned and worn sideways. Three sizes and two border styles, a lacy scalloped border and a beaded fringe border, are provided to create different looks. Instructions are also provided for a smaller 24-1/2″ neck opening, if desired.
Materials:
- Models were created using teal cotton crochet thread, size 10, and size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook.
- 6/0 seed beads were used for the beaded fringe option.
Finished Sizes:
- Measurements are based on the 30″ neck opening (pictured).
- Arm Length: 13-1/8″, 16″ and 18-7/8″
- Center Length: 18-1/4″, 22-1/4″ and 26-1/4″
