Concentric Lace Crochet Circle Vest & Doily
Concentric lacy patterns create this fun boho-style vest. This versatile crochet circle vest can be made in either fingering weight yarn (shown in pink and tan) or sport weight yarn (shown in pink and purple). The various sizes are established on the armhole opening round, and three different lacy borders are included to change the final diameter of the vest. Instructions are also provided to create a lacy doily by eliminating the armholes and using crochet thread.
Materials:
- The vests were created using either cotton fingering weight yarn and a size E (3.50 mm) crochet hook, or cotton sport weight yarn and a size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook.
- The doily was created using cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) crochet hook.
Finished Sizes:
- Vest Back Width: 18-1/2″ to 22″
- Vest Diameter: 35″ to 45″
- Doily: 30″ diameter
