Bunches of Daisies Filet Crochet Valance
This cheerful filet crochet valance will brighten up your window with it’s whimsical combination of daisies and checkerboard pattern. A strip of fabric is sewn on the back of the valance to create the rod pocket.
This valance is shown on a 36″ wide window (typically, a valance should measure about 1-1/2 times the window width to allow for some gathering).
Materials:
- The model was created using cream cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
- 1/4 yard of coordinating fabric to create the rod pocket
- 5/8″ diameter curtain rod to fit window width
Finished Size:
- 63-1/2″ wide x 15″ long (from top of rod pocket)
- A pattern repeat of 5-3/4″ allows adjustment in width to fit your window.
