Diamond Medallion Thread Crochet Valance
The subtle design of this lacy thread crochet valance will add a romantic element to your room. The optional tassels provide an additional dimension. The rod pocket is built into the design with a lacy border across the top.
This valance is shown on a 36″ wide window (typically, a valance should measure 1‑1/2 times the window width to allow for some gathering).
The Diamond Medallion Runner, a coordinating runner for your dresser or table, is also available.
Materials:
- The model was created using light brown cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook.
- Skeins of embroidery floss and jump rings were used to make the optional tassels.
Finished Size:
- 63″ wide x 17″ long (from top of rod pocket)
- A pattern repeat of 9″ allows adjustment in width to fit your window.
