Floral Bouquet Valance
This cheerful filet crochet Floral Bouquet Valance is covered with flowers to decorate your favorite window. The scalloped edge and checkerboard top border provide added decorative effect. The rod pocket, with a lacy border across the top, is built into the design to fit a 5/8″ diameter curtain rod. Instructions are given to customize the valance width to fit your window.
The valance is shown on a 36″ wide window (typically, a valance should measure about 1-1/2 times the window width to allow for some gathering).
This pattern includes both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference.

Materials:
- The model was created using medium blue cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
- 5/8″ diameter curtain rod to fit window width is also needed.
Finished Sizes:
- 67-1/2″ wide x 16-1/4″ long (from top of rod pocket)
- A pattern repeat of 11-1/4″ allows customization in width to fit your window.
