Fun & Fancy Crochet Snowflakes Vol. 4

Decorate packages, windows, a tree or wreath with these beautifully-detailed fun and challenging snowflakes! Connect multiple snowflakes to create an elegant hanging ornament, and add crystal beads and/or clear glitter paint for an extra touch … or even set several snowflakes across a glittery garland for your fireplace mantel.

All of my snowflake designs are inspired by the photographs of the “Snowflake Man” – Wilson A. Bentley.

Materials:

All snowflakes were created using white or teal cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
Stiffening supplies: foam core board, plastic wrap, fabric stiffener, paper towel and rust-proof straight pins.
Optional materials: assorted ribbon, jump rings, metal head pins, jewelry findings, beads, clear glitter paint, ornament hangers, small suction cups with hook.

Finished Sizes:

Instructions are provided for twelve large snowflakes and one tiny and small snowflake.
