Fun & Fancy Crochet Snowflakes Vol. 6
You can never have too many snowflakes! These beautifully-detailed snowflakes were designed specifically with color changes in mind to bring out their intricacy! Make several snowflakes in icy colors to decorate packages, windows, a tree or wreath; to connect together to create an elegant hanging ornament; or even to frame as a fun wall or table decoration!
All of my snowflake designs are inspired by the photographs of the “Snowflake Man” – Wilson A. Bentley.
Materials:
- All snowflakes were created with cotton crochet thread, size 10, in white and two colors of blue, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
- Stiffening supplies: foam core board, plastic wrap, fabric stiffener, paper towel and rust-proof straight pins.
- Optional materials: assorted ribbon, jump rings, metal head pins, jewelry findings, beads, clear glitter paint, ornament hangers, small suction cups with hook.
Finished Sizes:
Instructions are provided for twelve large snowflakes, and one medium and small snowflake.
