Fun & Fancy Flakes No. 7
You can never have too many crochet snowflakes to decorate for the holidays! Using self-striping thread, unique patterns are created on each of the fourteen crochet snowflakes included in the Fun & Fancy Flakes No. 7 pattern set, so no two will ever be exactly the same!
All of my snowflake designs are inspired by the photographs of the “Snowflake Man” – Wilson A. Bentley.
Materials:
- All snowflakes were created using self-striping cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 8 (1.50 mm) steel crochet hook.
- Stiffening supplies: foam core board, plastic wrap, fabric stiffener, paper towel and rust-proof straight pins.
- Optional materials: assorted ribbon, jump rings, metal head pins, jewelry findings, beads, clear glitter paint, ornament hangers, small suction cups with hook.
Finished Sizes:
Instructions are provided for twelve large snowflakes, and one small and mini snowflake.
