This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as design charts for reference. Since the interlocking filet crochet projects contain many diagonals to create the designs, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique. Materials:
- Afghans: Acrylic DK weight yarn, in variegated and solid colors, and a size 6/0 (3.50 mm) crochet hook were used.
- Backgammon and Chess/Checkers Pieces: Acrylic DK weight yarn, in two colors, a size 6/0 (3.50 mm) crochet hook, and plastic canvas circles (3″ and 5-7/8″) were used.
- Dice and Doubling Cube: Acrylic DK weight yarn, in two colors, a size 6/0 (3.50 mm) crochet hook, and 3-1/2″ plastic canvas squares were used.
Finished Sizes:
- Afghans: 61″ wide x 61″ high
- Backgammon Pieces: 4″ diameter
- Dice and Doubling Cube: 3-1/2″ cube
- Checkers & Chess Pieces: 6″ diameter
