Mehndi-Inspired Thread Crochet Doilies
Inspired by the intricacy of Mehndi-style henna, these four doilies will add elegance to your décor! The rust-color doily and small doilies are surrounded by a lacy border; the red doily, with open design, incorporates beads around the border; and the multi-color doily, also with beaded border, uses short rows to create the scalloped designs.
Materials:
- All models were created using red, rust and/or light copper cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook.
- 6/0 seed beads are also used around the border.
Finished Sizes:
- Small Doily: 5-1/2″ diameter
- Red & Rust Doilies: 13″ diameter
- Multi-Color Doily: 15-1/2″ diameter
