Mosaic Crochet Hearts Afghan Set
Wouldn’t this mosaic crochet hearts afghan and cute puffy heart make the perfect gift for your loved one? This fun afghan has stripes of hearts with four different designs as well as adorable dangling heart and hug fringe at the ends of each row! (The baby hat is not included in this pattern set.)
Unlike most afghans, the Mosaic Hearts Afghan does not start with a long foundation chain; instead, the picot border, created with foundation stitches, begins the afghan. A YouTube tutorial is included in the pattern to show you how to crochet the picot borders as well as the fringe shapes.
This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions, including how to eliminate the gap on the wrong side of mosaic crochet, and a design chart for reference.

Materials:
- The models were created using soft worsted weight yarn and a size 7.5/0 (4.50 mm) crochet hook.
- A large button, polyester stuffing and stitch markers are also needed for the Puffy Heart.
Finished Sizes:
- Mosaic Hearts Afghan: 41″ wide x 60″ long (not including fringe)
- Puffy Heart: 6″ tall, 16″ circumference
