Ribbing & Leaves Crochet Accessories
Add a pop of color to your summer wardrobe with these fun accessories, made with self-striping thread, and created by combining crochet ribbing with leaves in three different ways. The leaves are all created using foundation stitches. This pattern set includes the:
- Triangle-shaped Shawlette which begins at the narrowest point on one side, lengthens as you work toward the center, then narrows again to the opposite side;
- Ribbed Cowl with buttons on both sides to allow for styling in many different ways; and
- Fun Scarf with a checkerboard of open spaces and a long leafy fringe.
Materials:
- All models were created using self-striping cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook.
- Ten 1″ round buttons are also needed for the cowl.
Finished Sizes:
- Cowl: 20″ at narrowest section (center), 35″ around outside edge, and 9″ across
- Scarf: 9″ wide x 60″ long including leaf fringe
- Shawlette: 12″ wide at center, 70″ end-to-end including leaves
