Shimmering Leaves Lacy Crochet Shawls

Make these shimmering lacy crochet shawls in two different styles, using either aligned leaves or alternating leaves for the field pattern. The vertical shawl is worked from the center out with the lacy leaf border at each end; while the horizontal shawl is worked from the top border down with the lacy leaf border across the bottom edge. Additional instructions are provided to customize these shawls to your desired dimensions!

Materials:

  • The models were created using crochet cotton with metallic filament, size 10, and a size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook. 
  • Nazli Gelin Metallic crochet thread is recommended for this project.

Finished Sizes:

  • Vertical Shawl: 15″ wide x 68″ long
  • Horizontal Shawl: 51″ wide x 25-1/2″ long
