Snowflakes and Roses Afghan
This reversible Snowflakes and Roses Afghan has year-round versatility! Display the “snowflakes” side during cold weather, then flip it over to reveal the “roses” side when the weather warms up again!
This is an interlocking filet crochet project. By adding diagonals to connect the lines this technique creates on the back of the work, snowflakes magically turn into roses! A coordinating lacy border is added to each side to extend the design!
This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as design charts for reference. Since this design has many diagonal stitches, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique.
If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel! You can also read about it on my blog!
