This filet crochet window valance is completed in three separate sections: a right and left panel, and a scalloped section in the center. It can easily be customized to fit your window by changing the number of scalloped sections or eliminating the right and left panels. Rod pockets are built into the design to accommodate a 5/8″ to 3/4″ diameter curtain rod. 

The valance is shown on a 47″ wide window (typically, a valance should measure about 1-1/2 times the window width to allow for some gathering). 

• The model was created using silver cotton crochet thread, size 10, and a size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook.
• 5/8″ or 3/4″ diameter curtain rod to fit window width is also needed.
