January Snow Baby Afghan Set
This adorable January-themed baby afghan set includes the January Snow Afghan, Snowflake Pillow, Snowy Pom-Pom Hat (for newborn to 12 months), and a matching hat for your American Girl doll. Afghan motifs are worked in a corner-to-corner style technique and joined-as-you-go with the border round. This set is first in a series of baby afghan sets using a hybrid of corner-to-corner and filet crochet techniques, with a touch of patchwork thrown in, and popcorn stitches to enhance the design.
The American Girl Snowy Pom-Pom Hat is also included in the “Year of American Girl Hats & More…” pattern set.

Materials:
- The baby afghan, pillow and hat were all created using soft worsted weight yarn and a size G (4.25 mm) crochet hook.
- The American Girl hat was created using DK weight acrylic yarn and size E (3.50 mm) crochet hook.
Finished Size:
- January Snow Afghan: 45″ square
- Snowflake Pillow: 12″ square
- Snowy Pom-Pom Hat (circumference): Newborn – 12-1/4″, 6 Months – 14-3/4″, 12 Months – 17″
- American Girl Hat: 12″ circumference
