December Holidays Baby Afghan Set
This festive December-themed baby afghan set includes the Christmas Tree Afghan with a border reminiscent of cranberry and popcorn garlands; a Holiday Jacket and Skirt, and Elf Hat sized for newborn to 12 months; as well as a matching outfit for an American Girl doll. This set is twelfth in a series of monthly-themed sets using a hybrid of corner-to-corner and filet crochet techniques, with popcorn stitches added to enhance the design.
The American Girl holiday outfit and elf hat are also included in the “Year of American Girl Hats & More…” pattern set.

Materials:
- The afghan and baby outfit were all created using soft worsted weight yarn and size G (4.25 mm) and H (5.00 mm) crochet hooks.
- The American Girl outfit was created using DK weight acrylic yarn and size E (3.50 mm) and F (3.75 mm) crochet hooks.

- Holiday Jacket (chest): Newborn – 19″, 6 Months – 21-1/2″, 12 Months – 24″
- Holiday Skirt (waist & length): Newborn – 16-1/2″ & 7″, 6 Months – 18″ & 7-3/4″, 12 Months – 19-1/2″& 8-1/2″
- Elf Hat (circumference & length): Newborn – 12-1/2″ & 14″, 6 Months – 14-3/4″ & 16-1/2″, 12 Months – 17″ & 19″
- American Girl Jacket: 15-1/2″ chest
- American Girl Skirt: 11-1/2″ waist, 5-1/2″ length
- American Girl Elf Hat: 12″ circumference, 14″ length
