June Fishing Adventures Baby Afghan Set
This fun June-themed baby afghan set includes the Ocean Days Afghan with a wavy border, the Fishing Adventures Vest and Hat sized for your newborn to 12 month old, the fish plushie/appliqué, and a matching outfit for your American Girl doll. The afghan and hat incorporate a corner-to-corner style technique to create the design. This set is sixth in a series of baby afghan sets using a hybrid of corner-to-corner and filet crochet techniques, with popcorn stitches added to enhance the design.
The American Girl fishing vest and hat are also included in the “Year of American Girl Hats & More…” pattern set.

Materials:
- The baby afghan, vest, hat and fish plushie were all created using soft worsted weight yarn and a size G (4.25 mm) and H (5.00 mm) crochet hook.
- The American Girl outfit was created using DK weight acrylic yarn and a size E (3.50 mm) and F (3.75 mm) crochet hook.
Finished Sizes:
- Ocean Days Afghan: 40″ square
- Fishing Adventures Vest (chest): Newborn – 18-1/4″, 6 Months – 20-3/4″, 12 Months – 23-1/4″
- Fishing Adventures Hat (circumference): Newborn – 12-1/2″, 6 Months – 14‑3/4″, 12 Months – 17″
- American Girl Fishing Outfit: Vest – 15″ chest, Hat – 12″ circumference
